Established in 1980, Wee Hur Holdings Ltd is a listed company on the Singapore Stock Exchange, with core
businesses in property development, construction, workers’ dormitory and purposebuilt student accommodations.
Wee Hur has completed more than 100 construction projects since inception, while the property development arm has generated in excess of $1B worth of sales in both residential apartments and industrial units development. Wee Hur is also currently operating one of the largest foreign worker’s dormitory in Singapore, housing 16,800 workers in one facility.
Wee Hur’s first foray into Australia was a $56.5 million acquisition of 3 plots of land at Buranda in March 2015, now collectively known as Park Central. Part of this master plan boasts Australia’s largest purpose-built student accommodation, housing 1,578 students. Wee Hur subsequently purchased a commercial office building in the Brisbane CBD near King George Square in March 2016 for $63 million. Wee Hur’s motto “Prudence in our ways; Excellence is our aim” has paved the way to continual success and earned “Asia’s 200 Best Under A Billion” in 2013 and 2015 by Forbes.
